Simple prep and hearty flavor make this dish irresistible! High in fiber & protein and free of gluten, lentil pasta is a perfect sub for this classic meal.

 1 box red lentil pasta (Whole Foods brand is great!)
 12 cups boiling water
 3 links organic chicken sausage (Bilinkski's is my favorite brand)
 8 oz pasta sauce (Muir Glen Tomato Basil is my favorite!)

Bring 12 cups water to a boil. Add in pasta. Boil for 13 minutes (a few minutes longer than it says on the package), stirring occasionally.

Chop sausage into bite-sized pieces. Heat small frying pan on medium heat. Saute for 5-6 minutes, until starting to brown. Carefully mix in sauce and stir until heated through.

Drain pasta and scoop onto plate. Top with sauce mixture and serve warm!
