Fresh ginger & fresh turmeric are packed with anti-inflammatory nutrients and are VERY warming to the body. This makes Ginger-Turmeric tea the perfect antidote to chilly, dreary winter days!

 ½ inch fresh turmeric
 1 inch fresh ginger
 16 oz boiling water
 honey, if desired

Bring water to a boil.
While waiting, wash ginger & turmeric roots. Use a sharp knife to slice off the portion of root you want to use.
Use a metal spoon to peel away the skin layer.
Slice into thin rounds.

Place ginger & turmeric in a mug, teapot, or steeper basket and pour boiling water to fill the mug.
Cover (with plate or tea pot lid). Steep for 15 minutes.
Drink as is, or sweeten with a dash of honey.
Enjoy!
**Re-steep 2 more times for another delicious & healthy treat!
