A perfect warming winter drink, full of anti-inflammatory antioxidants and spices!

 1 cup nut milk (coconut milk, almond milk, etc)
 1 tsp ground turmeric
 ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  tsp ground ginger
 1 pinch black pepper (for optimal turmeric absorption!)
 sweetener (honey, maple syrup)

Add all ingredients to a small pot (except sweetener).

Warm mixture on medium-low heat for about 5 minutes - not boiling.
Stir occasionally with whisk or spoon.
If desired, use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender to puree until frothy!

Pour into your favorite mug and stir in sweetener of choice!

** I recommend using canned coconut milk without any additives or gums. If it is full-fat, sometimes I mix 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup coconut milk. You can also experiment with almond milk, cashew milk, etc!
