Maple syrup, cinnamon, apples, and tender, buttery oats. Enough said!
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Combine spices (in a glass Mason jar or container) to create a spice blend. If you only have cinnamon, that's ok too! Use any warm, autumn spices.
Place sliced apples in an 8x11 Pyrex glass baking dish. Sprinkle the lemon juice and 1 tsp. of spice blend over apples and mix to coat evenly.
In a medium bowl, combine the oats, maple syrup, flour, butter, and the remaining spice blend. Stir (or use your hands!) until well blended.
Spoon topping over apples. Bake for 45 minutes.
Serve warm or cold! It also makes a fantastic breakfast!
