Made with frozen green beans, fresh onions & garlic, and quick-toasted almonds!
Heat olive oil on medium heat and saute diced onions with a pinch of salt for about 3 minutes, until tender but not caramelized. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
Add frozen green beans and stir well. Add a pinch of salt and about 1 tbsp of water and cover. Cook covered for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
While the green beans are cooking, heat another pan on medium-low heat. Toast almonds, stirring occasionally. Keep your eye on them to prevent burning! When they start to turn golden, take the pan off the heat and let cool.
When green beans are tender, stir well, transfer to a plate, and garnish with additional olive oil and a pinch of salt. Top with toasty green beans and enjoy!!
